I have been working 100% remotely since Oct and everyone I work with prefers that scenario. On top of which corps like Target abandon expensive real estate. This is a shrift we saw coming before the pandemic due to increased efficacy or remote work technologies. Pandemic expedited shift that was already in the making.

It had virtually nothing to do with demonstrations about George Floyd's murder. While he had fentanyl in his system, what killed him was asphyxiation - homicide. Regardless, big office spaces WILL be retrofitted to fill other needs. The day of the office job is coming to a close.
