Covid has made working remotely accepted practice.
sf has had 90K households leave this year alone.
NYC population shrank as well.
The people leaving are the productive taxpayers, the tax eaters stayed put.
Why put up with the hassle cost of nyc, sf when you can connect to your business in a far more pleasant, cheaper location?
The rich, upper class are moving back to the country, smaller towns, lower taxes.
