I just don't care about black people. I know i am supposed

I know i am required to spend every waking moment agonizing about, fretting over, apologizing for, lamenting, performing acts of contrition, dedicating my life to making amends and living in a constant state of guilt and shame.

But i don't.

I don't care about the black race. Not one bit. Or the brown race or the yellow or red races.

Or the white race.

I do care about individuals. I care for and about singular people who have been hurt, wronged, cheated or killed through malicious or violent acts of others.

But i feel not the slightest bit of shame, guilt or responsibility for the plight of an entire race of people, many of who live much more comfortably than i and who have fame and money beyond my wildest dreams.

And like LeBrain James and queen largebottom, still consider themselves victims of white oppression.

Yes slavery was wrong. Jim crow was wrong. Racism is still wrong today regardless of which race engages in it.

But no, i don't feel the slightest bit guilty or concerned about the plight of an entire race of people.
