and the amount could be disputed / litigated.

Now Malzahn is "damaged goods" with his reputation impacted by the taint of being unable to cut it at a program like Auburn.

Maybe he'll get another good job, maybe he won't, but odds are he would have had a better, longer, more lucrative, less stressful tenure/career at a program like Arkansas or Missouri.
