This same argument was made for all the people who took money out of their houses, and then defaulted on interest only loans on houses they couldn't afford in the first place. Those who didn't act irresponsibly and lived within their means got to pay for it.
I sent my kids to affordable public schools for degrees that had reasonable job prospects, now they have manageable student loan obligations. Dummies who bought in to a pie in the sky notion fed them at some liberal arts school by progressives will never take responsibility if they don't have to.
