Interesting about 3 point shooting

His first season Mizzou shot 39% from 3. 39th in the country.
Second season the team shot 36%. 81st in the country.

No one would have predicted that the top 5 returning shooters would combine to shoot under 30% combined. Was it a 1 year aberration? Or are they really that bad as shooters. His success at Mizzou pretty much depends those guys bouncing back as shooters.
