A few things..staying on a plantation voluntarily is very different than slavery.

But also, there are millions of people "happy" under oppressed governments...that does not make it right in any sense.

Yet you lightly defend it...just like you defend the State and Police.

It is actually a very good corollary to the police in many ways.

This is a stretch, but to some extent, you are almost saying...well..if every slave owner was just nice..slavery would be ok...and yes..I know you do not mean that literally, but you are giving some suggestions to that.

And I have no idea how you can verify any of your Southern roots stories to know if they were true or not....I am sure many white owners thought they were nice people..but what would they do if a slave misbehaved?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
