We went into lock down to flatten the curve against a virus with which there was no sufficient testing and migration data, no vaccine, and no treatment. That is still where we are today.

Doesn't require a data model to know that. When we have robust testing, a vaccine, and a treatment for those infected then it would make sense to end the shut down.
