politics board of this very site for Thought Leaders. So you have a prime opportunity by making some profound insights over there of being noticed and tapped for the role.

Problem is Thought Leader has a very short shelf life. If you are actually good at it, they quickly become afraid of you or you end up proving them wrong so they have to discredit/discard you.
