... or embarrassing Sterk was likely the leak.
That's the only motivation that makes sense.
It wasn't Sterk or the search firm.
It wasn't any of those coaches' agents because the story is also embarrassing to their clients.
It could only have been leaked by those that gain to benefit, which would be someone that thought Sterk needed to be embarrassed.
Other than that... we don't know who did it.
We don't know how much truth there actually was in it. Meaning, how badly the context was missing from reality.
Maybe it was completely true and needed to be done. Maybe it was totally a misrepresentation to frame a narrative.
I think it was the latter
