There is nothing about Cuonzo's body of work or skill set that indicates greater than mediocrity. It would have been great if he caught lightning in a bottle like he almost did in year 1, but that would have been an amazingly surprising development if he maintained that.

With our current approach to men's basketball, we weren't in a position in 2018 to hire a great coach. Maybe Cuonzo will put us in that position in 2022.
