answer is consistency and avoiding the perpetual dlck tripping. No Mizzou fan is waiting for the big win to be ready to jump on s bandwagon. They’re waiting for the next fvckup to prove they should keep off of the bandwagon.
A lot of people say that winning cures all ills, but they are wrong.
Winning consistently enough to produce an expectation of the next win is what cures a lot of ills.
Mizzou does not need to win a national championship or even an SEC championship to get people on board. What they need is to go a few years with avoiding the Wyoming type of game, or the Kentucky type game from last year.
If Mizzou could go multiple consecutive years of 9-3 or even 8-4, but limit the losses to Georgia, Florida, Bama, LSU, The home state perception would change a lot
