But in their defense, Exalted Director of Athletics Michael F. Alden, for all his Missouruh linguistic schtick, never seemed to have much use for the mid Missouri types who weren't major donors. He really had no use for the folks in that part of the country that he saw as major rubes without incredible tans and perfectly manicured hair.
