As late as 2008 the majority of TSF donors were not alumni nor were season ticket holders. My knowledge of this comes from a best friend who worked in the AD’s office for years. Go back to the 50’s through the 80’s and Mizzou was followed throughput the state. Admittedly there was a drop off in the 90’s as some radio broadcasts for basketball were dead air commercials in places like Joplin. If it is true now then MU needs to start catering to non alums because the alum base isn’t large enough to support the sports program
