I'm not a donor or season ticket holder, and it's probably been 7 years since I spent money on anything Mizzou related. Not because I'm poor, but because I choose to spend my entertainment dollars on other things.
However, I recently made an exception and decided to purchase a Mizzou keychain on ebay.
For me to spend $7 on Mizzou, when that money could go toward a beer at the next Broncos game, is a big deal. I thought the cost of this keychain was ridiculous, but I was willing to pay it to do my part to support the university amid the hype of a season opener at Wyoming. But for the team to turn in a complete TURD of a game and get outcoached and outplayed like that, makes this high-dollar investment even more frustrating for me!
I'll still watch Mizzou on TV... because it's my school and my team, but I'll definitely think twice before putting any more hard-earned money on the line if that's the kind of effort I can expect.
So, until these problems are fixed and Mizzou starts winning every single game, my financial support of the school is OVER... no more keychains, no more beer koozies, no more of my hard-earned nickels & dimes.
EDIT: To those of you criticizing me... I'm not the only fan who feels this way. Just ask my good friend Tptiger:
