given season, but to be undoubtedly eliminated after the first week, leaving no chance, is a different story.

You can lose to one Power 5 team and still make the playoffs. You can't lose to a team like Wyoming.

And let's face it, you lose to Wyoming and it means the odds of winning anything meaningful, including an SEC east title... those hopes are pretty much dashed as well.

What makes it even worse is the pre-season hype that got everyone's expectations up, along with an easy schedule that was set up for a 10+ win season.
