I acknowledged that the black doc might be the better of two docs, the other being white.
Sure, the white guy may have been a legacy, the son or daughter of an alumnus.
But do you think the black doc is LIKELY to have had inferior grades to get into yale? Not necessarily, but what are the odds?
And maybe the black doc did better once at yale than the white guy. But what are the odds?
AA stigmataizes blacks. It is counter productive.
I've said here before that the old story of white guys wanting jewish doctors because the jews had to overcome prejudice and bigotry and they worked harder to get to the top. The jews had to be better.
The blacks just have to be pitied. Which one do you want, if all you know is color, to cut open your wife and operate on her heart?
