If they're willing to leave wherever the **** they are to come here because it sucks so bad there, I want them to get a fair shake at making it here.

What I don't want is to reward them for showing up poor. Freshly arrived El Salvadorian poor isn't the same as broke black people poor or broke American born white trash poor. You can't just show up and be poor and get comfortable on the government tit.

I don't even want the poor Americans on the government tit. I honestly think it steals a part of your humanity to get cared for as sustenance levels. It takes away your motivation.

I don't want people starving, I also don't want people comfortable as sustenance levels on the taxpayer dime. Not only because it's essentially stealing from taxpayers, but because it's stealing from you. It steals your ambition.
