the problems are
a) the problems we have caused in central America
that have led to mass migration
b) that we make it attractive for illegals to come here
welfare, free education, anchor babies, sanctuary cities
c) poor control of legal entry (visa overstays, etc)
d) overcontrol of casual labor
e) poor control of check points (drugs in particular)

a wall will not address ANY of these problems- nor stop illegals from entering.
