the conference at each individual bowl. There are 11 bowl eligible SEC teams and most have equal or better records as Mizzou, but almost all have larger fan/ alumni bases, which makes it easier to fill up a stadium on game day.

I think Memphis would be a good spot for MU since most could drive to the game.
