team B in all 3 major polls (CFP, AP, Coaches) and has an equal to or better SEC record, then team A cannot fall behind team B in the bowl game pecking order.
There seems to be a lot of talk about unranked South Carolina possibly getting a better bowl game than Mizzou, despite the fact that Mizzou is the better team according to the Playoff Selection committee, the Associated Press, and the majority of college football coaches. Specifically, Mizzou is ranked #24, #27, and #29 in those polls, while South Carolina isn't even "receiving votes".
As such, it would be completely unfair, unjust, and unacceptable for the SEC to give South Carolina (its fans, players, and coaches) a more prestigious & rewarding bowl game than Mizzou.
Hopefully the SEC does the right thing.
