The only guy he didn't recruit was Rusty Groth, who Larry Smith had playing as an offensive lineman.

Pinkel's staff turned him into a defensive lineman.

On top of that.... the entire linebacking corp. were his recruits.

The entire defensive back corp. were his recruits.

Both kickers were his.

We went 8-4.

We were 5th in conference in scoring D and 5th in total D
We were 3rd in turnover margin, +9 ahead of 4th place.

We were the least penalized team in the entire conference.

We forced our opponents into more penalties than any team in conference.

Pinkel did it without any help from Larry Smith.

The excuses for Odom are over
