Don’t agree. The overall efficiency of vehicles have improved dramatically to the point where overall gas use is down some. People will carpool or take public transportation if gas gets high. More people are working from home.

Businesses have moved more towards natural gas since it is cheaper energetically. They have done things to make them more energy efficient, etc.

Would be interested in what you would propose as a solution.
