say that in terms of draft position it would be likely that Micheal Porter Jr would be drafted outside the top 5 and Jontay would be drafted outside the top 25 in some draft most would have thought that impossible. Yet that is the case somehow.

They are both declaring at the absolute most inopportune time available to them in terms of their basketball standing and development. I'd like to think they are both talented enough anyway to overcome that and still go on to long and productive careers. But I certainly can't say that for sure, which seems crazy.

I'd say its about 50/50 that when the 2023 NBA season kicks off both Porters are in the NBA or no Porters are in the NBA.
