I think an education is a good thing to have but you can get

that at any point in your life. And the goal of education is to get a good career. If you can get pro money you would be dumb not to get it. Even if you are the last pick in the first round, your guaranteed salary is $4.5 million and endorsements probably add another million or two to that.. About 90% of college graduates won't make that much in their entire lifetime.

Staying in college benefits no one except the fans and the college coaches who don't have to recruit a replacement player. And on the basketball side, a kid can become a much better basketball player in the NBA where he can play against the best players and focus all of his time to basketball instead of pretending to be a student.

All the arguments about staying seem to be from a selfish place where fans don't want Jontay to leave because our team will struggle without him.
