IF it is categorically wrong to take a human life, there are no conditions that apply such as your lame ass:
"well if you are defending yourself,
well if you are defending your family,
well if you are defending a loved one,
well if you are defending an "innocent",
well if you are defending your property . . ."
And one does not "passively accept the result" one can struggle, resist and fight . . . but to hold fast to the imperative that existing human life is sacred you draw the line at killing.
There ya go. (So what are you going to do now, present some absurdist scenario along the lines of "so if your innocent 13 yr old daughter was about to be raped by a gang of marauding hells angels you would not kill to prevent it ????" Ha, ha ha.
