He's the one who told MPJr he wasn't playing at Kentucky even as MPJr had his game uni on.
Do you think, for instance, Tilmon is more game ready now physically and at less risk for injury than he was a week before the first game of the year? How about now compared to a month before the first game of the year?
If a player says he's not ready then you don't put him in.
Most players don't have in front of them everything that MPJr has in front of him. And at the same time, MPJr isn't risking what other players are risking (i.e. playing time and good standing with the coach) by taking his time getting back on the court.
Elite players are simply treated differently. It's no different at MU than anywhere else at any level.
