smaller it is than STL, which is a Top 20 Media Market, has an exponentially higher Crime Rate overall.

STL, by light years, is not only the largest Metro in the State if Missouri, it is the 2nd Safest Metro!!

kc being on of the smallest Metros among the Top 50 Largest Metros is toward the top of Metro & Total Crime Rate. Way higher than STL in both!

KC Star is right for doing in depth reporting on what it calls a “disturbing homocide trend.”

They don’t have (read: can afford) enough law enforcement to address it all, hence the way below National average Clearance Rate for Violent Crime.

As the KC Star has reported, he Homocide Rate in KC is 4.5 tines higher than the National Average!! Wow!

KC’s Homicide Rate per 100,000 people is higher than Chicago!!!! Just the facts, but it out of control there.

As incredible as it is, they also reported, the Death Rate for Black men ages 25-34 in Kansas City is higher than the Death Rate for troops deployed to Iraq & Afghanistan between 2001-2011!!
