jobs and "a living wage" is a flawed one.

Let's say there's some elderly guy living on SS. He needs his grass cut and would like to pay someone else to do it, but he barely has enough to live on.

Some other guy starts up a company to cut lawns. He has 4 kids and a wife. The economy is tough and there are several other competitors doing the same thing he is. He offers to cut the guy's grass for $20 a pop and the old guy hates to do it, but he's getting pretty frail and agrees to those terms.

Half way through the year the lawn guy's truck engine blows up & he needs a new one. On top of that his wife now pregnant with twins.

He decides all of his customers are going to have to pay him $60 per mowed lawn rather than $20. Do you think they all owe him a living wage, which is now much higher than it was before?
