the hype that is surrounding this program is deservedly high. However if people are expecting a final four, or even a top 3 seed then disappointment will be inevitable. As you said, we were a complete embarrassment to the SEC and to college bball in general for three years. The fact that we have a very good shot to finish in the top 3 of the conference and make the tournament is very exciting. That's the "hype" that most logical fans are buying in to. The upperclassmen on this team played for (one of?) the worst Mizzou basketball teams in history. Can't expect talented freshmen to come in and turn a 9 win team into a 30 win team. It just probably isn't going to happen.

I fully expect our bball team to live up to the hype of being a top 3 finisher in the SEC and a team that hopefully meshes by the tourney and is a team no-one wants to play.
