There is hope, there are expectations, there are reasons for optimism. If MU fans allow themselves to be disappointed this season that is on them.

MU has gone through a 3 year period with a complete lack of commitment to the program. We avged 9 wins per season and got 14th in the SEC all three years. We even put ourselves on probation and vacated a season worth of wins for no reason just to try and distract from the disaster. We are going through something similar in football right now as well.

MU is actually trying in basketball again. There are going to be exciting moments about following MU basketball this season. You can actually care about it again, you can be invested in the outcome without seeming absurd.
