I don't have first hand knowledge but when I was there I worked for one of the few tech companies in the area. Also I see a lot of newcomers to the area from a lot of different places but none from Missouri. There are also a lot of people that leave the area due to the cost but I don't know anyone that has gone to Missouri. It's either SoCal Seattle Portland Austin Michigan Colorado or Boston.

We'll see what happens.
