don't want big government. Socialists do.

But anytime the government does anything, it's not necessarily BIG GOVERNMENT.

Building the roads is not socialist.
The military is not socialist.
National parks are not socialist.

But whenever the right is in favor of a government program or government assistance, stupid people...REALLY stupid people say we are for socialism.

Because the left has nothing to argue with so they resort to lies, distortions, hypocrisy. What JG calls "irony."

Even anarchists who say they want no government, also want big government. A big all powerful government that tells people what to do and how to do it. They won't call it government, they will call it the will of the people, or some such lie.

The socialist will call it government, but won't acknowledge that it's big and all powerful. They will say it is appropriate in order to be compassionate for the needs of the people.

There is a difference Mr Blew Guys, from wanting small government and not wanting any government at all.
