decided I wanted or needed. I was presented with a wide variety of options (call it a menu) with prices and coverage limits, deductibles and copays. Just like I am with car insurance. I decided what I wanted and what I needed and chose my coverage myself.

Why is that unacceptable?

Some people just want 'catastrophic/major medical and nothing else....

Why is that unacceptable?

Some people want to self insure.

Why is that unacceptable?

Some people want a 'Cadillac Plan' where every conceivable option is covered.

Is that the best option?
