I am a non-smoker, non drinker, not over weight with no history of major illness or injuries.

But yes, my health insurance costs should be higher than a 24 year old male with the same background... Just as my car insurance costs are likely much lower than a 24 year old male and my life insurance is likely higher.

I am a higher risk life and health insurance customer and a lower risk car insurance customer. Lower risk = lower premium; higher risk = higher premium.
