Jesus told you to, you know. You see the thing of Jesus was a Jew thing. He was a devout Yahwist. Somehow I get the impression you are not.

It seems you are VERY selective in your selection of Judaic Law to boast about.

And lastly the funniest thing of all is the Christian prediction - despite the many, many, many, countless many hands of man involved in the creation of this Bible - to claim THAT is GOD and that is that. That is God that said that. God. That's it. We got God. That's it. Discussion over. We got God. It's God's word. Done. I really get a kick out of that. I study where it all came from.

I study Jesus, called the Christ, the stories the great tales, the deep and necessary roots in Judaism, the deification which comes way later. But NO NO NO. It is God God. End of Story. God wrote book. God. End. Ours. I think it is all pretty awesome when you step back to look. You might take a look at the writings of the Apostolic Fathers. Much of what you think came from core text (themselves decades after the events by folks who were not there) came in stead from writers who came to be known as Apostolic Fathers. It is really cool stuff.
