First of all I never supported the hire of Kim Anderson. Find a post of mine that supports his hiring - good luck.

You want to curse the darkness - fine, but please for your own sake don't act like a dumba$$ and think I've had anything to do with the policies of this athletic department through the years. In terms of academic entrance requirements, facilities, coaches salaries, who gets hired, any of that.

I look at what we have and have made the decision to be a fan. I don't pout about what we should do, I speculated about hiring Bill Snyder and doing it his way, I would have loved it, but I don't whine about the fact that we didn't - I still choose to be a fan, even when Babs Uhling tried her hardest to screw this thing up. My level of participation has varied over the years due to different factors.

Hey you want this thing to change and want us to become a blue blood in either major sport - great. YOU put out the bucks since thats what it takes. You get yourself hired in a leadership position and make those changes, see that it happens, see that we have that kind of commitment. But don't be an idiot and blame me or the dozens of others that have supported this program through the years in spite of its flaws, bad hires and mis handling of certain situations.

Now run along Bunky, and make it happen.
