I think Tropicana picking up other players as a designated driver when they caused a fight. And Grimes had been dismissed in the offseason when he smashed a guys head with a shotgun. So Mike Anderson issued a 'zero tolerance' policy. Then that happened, the season imploded, and it was pretty dodgy whether Mike would be given time to rebuild the program as many started to think he was unfit.
