a dishwasher, effectively ending his MU career. And several of his teammates came to his aid and were thusly suspended because Mike Anderson had issued a 'zero tolerance' policy. So a promising team at one point that had just recently defeated the eventual Big 12 champs Texas completely imploded without the necessary depth to run Anderson's system and finished 16-16.

The Otto Porter Jr. recruitment was handled fine, he wasn't going to commit until the regular signing period and by that point Mike Anderson was no longer our coach. That is just one of the fabricated notions that some MU fans cling to. Had Mike stayed, he would almost certainly been a Tiger. Just unfortunate timing.
