he sent Gary Link to deliver the news that regardless of what would play out from that point forward, Quin would not be retained at the end of the year. And in similar mature fashion, Quin abruptly quit instead so nobody could fire him. Then left the team and Melvin Watkins to play out the remainder of that dreadful season.
