More. A small child on the top of the WTC would have no problem a ball and having it land a great distance from the base. Yes of course the forces required to hurl a beam would orders of magnitude greater. The gravitational potential energy stored in that particular building would many many orders of magnitude more than necessary to move beams that far.
As I said before even a very small percentage of that energy were used to impart a horizontal motion to a beam it would travel a very long way out before it reached the ground.
Simple physics my simple friend. Not magic and very easy to explain when you don't believe in fairy tales.
