Leavitt had a .620 winning percentage as a head coach and USF was ranked #2 in the country at one point. Orgeron was an dismal failure in his one and only gig as a full-time, non-interim head coach. Plus, Leavitt coached for five years in the NFL and did a pretty good job with the 49ers linebackers.
