He still looks in pretty shape to me.
As far as his history of player abuse, he's not the only coach who's struck a player. We don't know what precipitated that incident, but coaches like Woody Hayes, Mike Leach and others have done the same thing. Hell, Bear Bryant abused his players, both at aTm and Alabama. And Frank Kush at Arizona State made his players run up and down Mt. Kush outside of Sun Devil stadium in the 105 degree heat of Tempe until they were puking their guts out and collapsing from heat exhaustion.
I seriously doubt if a super liberal institution like CU would have hired the guy without vetting him up and down first.
