It should also be mentioned that our offense was so bad last year that the opposing defenses went ultra conservative knowing we couldn't score and were content to play field position against us.

I think its a theory that prolly holds some water. I'm overall bummed but not necessarily discouraged at the defense as it pertains to the future.

In other words, I have hope. And I'm trying to hang on.
