Ultimately, Pinkel is responsible for all of it, as is Odom now. Ricker was a bad hire by Pinkel, who was put into a tough position by Bruce Walker retiring unexpectedly right before the 2014 season. No matter what you may think, Ricker didn't perform as well as Walker. There is no evidence that Pinkel's mandate about starting upperclassmen was the cause of the problems. Pinkel has always favored upperclassmen. It's part of his development program, which has worked extremely well. No Pinkel team, absent maybe the very first, had as many offensive line problems as we did under Ricker.
Last, you think Cooper was hired to be a recruiter? Wrong. Graduate assistants aren't allowed to travel to recruit players. If he gets promoted to a position coach, then he could travel and recruit.
