Truth is Ricker didn't have autonomy of personnel.

Truth is Ricker didn't have a true LT on the roster -- this year we have Howell.

Those are two HUGE facts.

Truth is Elarbee is just an average dude. An average OL coach. The hiring market was thin. However, yes, he's demanding more toughness, which is coming from Odom.

Truth is Jon Cooper is the real game changer for the OL staff. NFL center. Young guy. Cool guy. Motivator. Recruiter.

A true LT and a HC who will play deserving young guys. Plus an OC who can utilize schemes and personal better will be much bigger factors than the Ricker-Elarbee coaching swap.

When this offense runs all over WVU for 34 points Saturday, everyone will praise Elarbee as a reason for the change, which will be inaccurate.
