he had a minimal role for most of SEC play - why was that if he was the 3rd most productive player?

Walton averaged less than one 3 pt attempt per game - he doesn't have a large enough sample size to extrapolate his productivity to a 40 minute game.... Walton's sample size was so small that two good games (last two of the season) skewed his 3pt % (i.e. he hit 5 of his 11 three's in those two games.)

Over the first 29 games, KJ was shooting below 25% from three - which made Kim's usage of KJ less questionable.
