and they had a half-court shot contest as part of the festivities. 10 contestants, mostly "male" with 2 girls.

I was shocked by the lack of athleticism. One guy kept firing shots too long, but most of them couldn't even get the ball to the rim. One of the girls couldn't have hit the rim from the free throw line. Just weak sauce.

Finally won by a young lady on the 3rd trip through. To be honest, she was the closest and had the best form of any of the contestants. Just sad.
