named, that is valid, because it is a wider problem than just affecting black people, but poor whites as well.
But when focusing specifically on blacks it is a fair term to use.
But no, the argument is not that if it can’t be shown it proves it exists. It is argued that people aren’t aware of it because they are not thinking about it. It is not overt, it is integral to the system. You have to study the system and see how it affects different people groups.
