what causes the least harm is the best out of bad choices. It would be sacrificing justice for 250+ people in exchange for harm to a greater population from manipulation due to blackmail or any systemic issues from exposing the perpetrators.

Consequentialism, the ends justify the means isn’t a communist idea. It’s been used by Israel and the US to preemptively attack other nations.

There is a possibility that when Trump was speaking about the Epstein situation during his campaign, he didn’t know how deep the rabbit hole went and it has only been revealed to him in recent weeks.
